Control
Centreby Audax
See the truth, then make the best call.
For breeders and backgrounders. Your weights, treatments, mobs and paddocks in one place, and every figure honest about where it came from.
Status: pilot. Northern Australia first.
The problem
Things get missed.
The facts of a working property sit in notebooks, scale files, vet invoices and memory. A booster slips, a weigh runs late, a withholding period goes unchecked before the truck arrives. Nobody means to neglect stock.
- Visibility. Know your herd and your compliance.
- Decision. Did it help, hurt, or make no difference?
The Farm screen
Every figure says how it was made.
Weekly gain per head, for last week, four weeks and the quarter. Each figure is measured, partly measured or estimated, or left blank. A mob that was never weighed is listed, not guessed.
- Last week
- 3.8kg/head/wk
- Measured
- 4 weeks
- 3.6kg/head/wk
- Partly measured
- Quarter
- 3.4kg/head/wk
- Estimated
- Mob B4
- —
- Never weighed
What to expect at the crush: each mob's likely weight today, the range at the next weigh, then the weigh itself.
Example farm. Figures simulated.
Today
What needs you, welfare first.
Health, compliance, weighs and headcount, from every record, in one list.
- CriticalAnimal down in River paddock, flagged at first light.
- SeriousMob S2 can't be sold until 14 Nov: inside a withholding period.
- WatchBooster overdue for mob W1, by 9 days.
- RoutineMob W2 is due a weigh.
Example farm.
Compare
Helped, hindered, or neither.
Split a mob across two paddocks with a different lick in each. Control Centre says whether the change helped, hindered or made no clear difference, with the size of the effect and how sure it can be.
- Helped
- Hindered
- No clear difference
Evidence strength 4 of 6: a natural trial. A trial planned in advance rates higher.
Example result. Simulated.
Plan and advisor
An advisor you can check.
It looks back at what your mobs did, and ahead at what independent research says, citing its sources. Manufacturer claims are shown as claims, and graded.
- Supported
- Partly supported
- Not independently tested
Each prediction is written down before the outcome is known, then checked at the next weigh or sale. The advisor can be checked rather than just trusted.
Kg first, dollars last
Weight first. Money at the end.
Kilograms, kg per day, head and condition score come first. Dollars come last, at prices you set. If a dollar figure can't be worked out reliably, you see the kilograms and what is missing.

Missing two feed invoices. The kilograms stand; the dollars wait.
Example farm. The price is yours to set, not a market quote.
Works with Muster
One map. The counts come back.
Control Centre holds the farm: paddocks, mobs and the headcount ledger. Muster flies that map at first light and writes back head per paddock, so the books are checked against the paddock.

Pilot
Run it on your property.
Control Centre is in pilot with working cattle properties in northern Australia. Bring what you already keep: your scale files (Gallagher works), treatments and mob moves. Tell us about your mobs and your records, and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.
